We meet once a year, swap numbers, take a couple of selfies — a few talks, an after-party, a beer or two, then back home.
It's a nice hello, but it isn't really knowing each other. Then it goes quiet, and a year later we do it again. Meanwhile search is changing faster than it ever has — you can't keep up, or grow, bumping into each other once a year.
So this is the in-between: real evenings through the year, city by city, where people actually get to know each other.
